Thank you for visiting our page! We are overwhelmed by the support from our fiends and family and even people we have never met! THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for helping us bring home our baby. I have wanted to be a mom for so long. I have watched so many of my friends create their families, and while my heart bursts with so much love, there is still a part of my heart with pain that I don't have what they do. Due to the combination of my medical issues, Bladder Extrophey and Type One Diabetes, I was told carrying a baby to term could be dangerous and I would need to be in the hospital for most of the pregnancy. Ry and I both decided that my carrying a baby wasn't an option for us. My body has been through SO much my entire life, and putting it through nine months of pregnancy just isn't the best thing for it. It broke my heart for a long time to think I would be able to experience all the wonderful and not so wonderful things that comes along with carrying a baby. We thought about surrogacy but decided to go the adoption route as there are SO many children out there who need a loving home. And blood doesn't make a family, LOVE is what makes a family. And we have SO much love to give a little one.
So, this is where we are at. We found an amazing adoption agency called Angel Adoption we are very excited to work with. But, as everyone knows it is VERY expensive (but worth every penny). Not only do we need to pay for the cost of the adoption but there are additional fees as well; Home Study Fees, Lawyer Fees (for our state as well as the state the baby is born in) travel fees to meet the birth mother and go pick up our baby when he or she is born. We are working on saving but are also hoping we can raise some money as well to help us reach our goal of starting a family. With my medical bills, every day life and general saving to be able to support a family when we have one, saving the amount we need to adopt would just simply take too long. We are looking to our friends and family and anyone willing to help, for their support. Any little bit will help us reach our goal of having a family. There are simply no words to express our gratitude to you all for your hand in helping us start our family. THANK YOU! <3
