New-Leaf Kickstart for Poppies For Pops
Interviewing & Writing Elder Veterans Favorite Life Stories
In the past few years I have come to some glorious realizations about myself, life and being of service. There is a living history within each of us that holds the golden nuggets of our unique experiences, skills, wisdom and understandings that when shared (and documented) bring amazing joy and appreciation to the people who share and those who receive.
I have a special gift where when I sit down with people they are genuinely able to open up and express more than ever before. I am so happy and committed to show up and serve our elder War Veterans. Poppies For Pops is a joyful new path (that has been building for the past several years) for working with and sharing all of my best life skills and expertise and bringing out what I’ve been working on in private- writing. I am stepping OUT of my comfort zone and bunny slippers to get out there and connect, with our community and elder Veterans to become a part of the solution.
VISION!
My current vision is to get started and create the momentum to soar!! This kickstart will provide the base funds to get the equipment and supplies I need to do my very best work! Poppies For Pops will be making donation/contributions to Veterans Services and needs throughout all that we do.
