It feels like forever has passed but alas graduation day is here! On December 17th I'll be walking the stage to receive my Masters in Science in Nursing (MSN) and my Masters in Business Administration (MBA)---two degrees that I've worked so hard for. It wasn't easy juggling full time work with full time school, all while being present as a friend and family member to those I love.

 

Everyone I love is spread out throughout the globe, and I wish we could all spend time together to celebrate all the great moments we have in our lives.

 

Looming in this happy moment is the hard fact that this education came with a price, a high one. Though, my choice to be career-oriented and ambitious is not wasted: Earning these degrees broadened my knowledge and has already opened many doors for me. It was a sound investment, and now I have to pay it back. With interest.

 

This is why any and all graduation gift amounts in this fund will go directly towards paying back the student loans I took out to pursue my dreams.

 

I'm asking those who would like to give me a graduation gift or recognize the achievement to consider giving to this fund: This gift will grant me a little peace of mind as I continue this journey and that is honestly all I need right now.
