Thank you so much for becoming a part of Malik's college journey.
Malik's Pell Grant and football scholarship will pay for the bulk of his tuition, room, and board, but there will still be a balance of about $3,600. In an effort to avoid student loans, we are pursuing scholarship opportunities to offset this cost. We have also been touched by the community outreach in response to Malik's story, so we have started this page as a way for people to contribute to the shortage.
Any left over money would be used for supplies, year two tuition, to offset travel costs when coming home for breaks, and for transition to a four year college!
