Meg heads to University of Hartford
Thank you everyone that has supported my goal to minimize the need for loans for my time at University of Hartford!!!! I am still attempting to close up the gap for tuition needs and any additional support will help me reach that goal!
It is my goal to graduate as close to debt free as possible so that I may make career choices based on my passions and not on my budget. To focus on my dedication to the arts and education - your support will allow me to do that!

A year away at UHart and Meg is home for the summer. What a great year she has had! Grades were on the Dean's & President's list - moved to an apartment for next school year and is missing school while home for summer. Planning for year 2 of school and all it entails! Thank you all for your support in her first year!

Mom here... Meg is now at UHart, beginning classes this week. Moved into her dorm, settling into college life and the new adventure has begun! watch for updates!!!!

Hello Everyone!!!! Anyone in the Charlotte area, looking to catch Meg in her final performance before she heads to University of Hartford! She will perform Eva Peron in "Evita" this Friday 8/5 @ 7:30pm & Saturday 8/6 @ 7:30pm at Imaginon, Children's Theatre of Charlotte!!! Tickets are on sale at Children's Theatre of Charlotte website & are going fast!!!! Also, she is in the final days of final prep for departure and tying up loose ends. She is still trying to build funds for her education funding and any help you want to gift her will be much appreciate by our collegiate girl! What an exciting week! After nearly 200 applicants, 50 chosen for interview... Meg was one of the 35 invited to the LEAD (Women's Initiative Program) at University of Hartford. Address for her housing has been delivered and final roommate assignments in place. Things are coming together for her departure in about 6 weeks! The icing on the cake... She has been cast as Eva Peron in "Evita" at Children's Theatre of Charlotte. Show will be on stage at Imaginon on Friday, Aug 5 @ 7:30pm & Saturday, Aug 6 @ 7:30pm. Between it all, she is continuing to work as many hours as she can to fill the gap of tuition needed. So very proud of this girl and her work ethic! Keep it up Meg!

Family and Friends in Michigan!!! Tomorrow is Meg's Grad Party at Nana & Grandpa's house (aka Pat & Larry) in Memphis, Michigan. Sunday, July 10 at 2-6pm! I have tried to send paper invites, FB invites, and am sure I have missed hearing from people or getting the info to you! This is my last call to get everyone together for a reunion and to see you, while we celebrate Meg's Graduation & Larry's Birthday! Thank you all for your support thus far in my education, performances, and future!!! Recently the Blumey Awards aired on TV. Time to reflect.... I am so proud and grateful for my Nomination in the Featured Performer Category and for our school's wins! Best Musical (yay all of our cast and crew!!!), Best Direction (Thank you Mr. Robinson), my dear friends Best Actor (Justin) and Best Actress (Amina) - what an exciting conclusion to our time at CATA!

Well it is official! Meg is a High School Graduate from Central Academy of Technology and Arts in Union County, NC. A great day and accomplishment!
