Kashmir Kisting, 1 year old daughter, of Kristina Kisting and John Marshall II, of Richland Center, has been diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma, and Hydrocephalus on Tuesday, August 15th in the Peds E.R. at AFCH. Friday, August 18th the final results came back from the biopsy & bone marrow giving them a firm diagnosis of Stage 4 Neuroblastoma. The family could use gift cards to local restaurants to help with food for the nights where family meals are not offered. If you know of any restaurants willing to donate, please contact me to coordinate. This was impossible news to predict, and even harder to understand. This is probably the most difficult challenge they will ever face as a family. I am asking for help on their behalf while they are struggling to cope with everything. Since they are required to be in Madison during the cancer treatment, Kristina is unable to continue in her position caring for other's family members as a CNA, which will make this already dire situation all the more challenging for her. They live a few hours away from the Children's hospital, have not been able to enjoy the comforts home in over a week, and are required to be at the hospital 24/7, during this critical time in Kashmir's treatment. You can send a private message to coordinate arrangements for items that are not monetary or click the link below to make a monetary donation that will go directly to them. Every bit helps, even if it is a dollar, or a meal, especially with the day to day expenses of being so far away from home and the prohibitive costs associated with cancer treatment. If you can find it in your heart to help this young and struggling family in their hour of desperate need, they would be forever grateful for your kindness.
