Make Your Own!

I've set up this fund is set up on behalf of a dear friend.
On November 20, 2017, the Syrian National Judo team was practicing, when their Damascus gym was hit three times with mortar fire. Two players died, and everyone else was sent to the hospital.
One person is still in the hospital - Coach Ezhar. Ezhar was hit badly, resulting in severe injury to both of his legs and his right shoulder. His left leg needed to be amputated above the knee, and he desperately needs surgery on his right leg because of an infection. His family doesn't have money for the hospital stay or the surgery.
This story is personal to me because my dear friends, Yousef, Najieh, and their kids (pictured above with my family), consider Ezhar to be family, and are distraught by being so far away at his time of need. Yousef did not ask us for help, but he gave me his blessing to set up a fund. He said that each day in the hospital is ≈ 195 USD, and that the right leg surgery is ≈ 1950 USD.
We can make a huge difference in many people's lives just by helping this one man. A few dollars will go a long way!
I can't thank you enough.
Love, Suzanne
