Started by: Sarah Flinders
Erin and Peter Flinders are two of the most kind-hearted, generous people in the world. Erin is a CNA, specializing in at home care. She is an avid quilter, and has donated her beautiful blankets to charitable causes in the past. They have also been fostering special-needs children for several years, and have been able to adopt one, whom they love dearly. Recently, Erin was hospitalized for pneumonia. As a result of the antibiotics she was given, and the dye used to check for blood clots in her lungs, she is experiencing acute kidney failure. She may require dialysis, which the small hospital in their area is not equipped to provide, necessitating a move to a larger, more expensive hospital several hours away. She has been in the hospital for over a week, and once she has improved enough to return home, she is not expected to return to work for at least two months. With special-needs children at home and only one income, they find themselves in need of help covering their increasing medical costs. Please consider giving to this wonderful family!
UPDATE:
Erin is home from the hospital and improving, but not out of the woods, yet. Thank you for your love and prayers!
