Bill, Tina and Matthew were traveling to see Matthew play in friendly soccer games with his team over in England and Scotland when Bill experienced heart failure. Bill was hospitalized in London for three weeks and earlier this week he was deemed stable enough, although still in critical condition, to travel by air ambulance to Washington Hospital Center for continued treatment in the CCU closer to home. The emotional toll on the family has been challenging and they have also incurred very significant and unexpected medical and travel costs that are not covered by insurance. Tina has also taken a leave of absence from her position as a pre-school teacher at Beth El.
Let's come together as a community to assist them during this difficult time.
