Ruth and Kurt Lofton had their sweet Malia Jane on Mother’s Day this year. She was perfectly healthy and thriving. At 3 weeks old she started turning blue and they rushed her to the ER. Within 12 hours and 2 transports later, they ended up at St Louis Childrens. There, they discovered her heart is not functioning properly. There are many tests being run everyday to find the cause. She is currently in the Cardio Pediatric ICU and being given amazing care. With all of this, there are so many unexpected expenses that The Loftons are facing: deductibles, travel expenses, meals, uncovered hospital fees, Kurt being off work, just to name a few. We would love to bless them during this unexpected and difficult time. To know Ruth and Kurt is to love them. They are such gracious servants and givers with big hearts for everyone around them and now we get the chance to give back to this amazing family. No donation is too small. 100% of the proceeds will be given to The Loftons. Please also join us in also praying for complete healing for Malia Jane. We believe in a miracle working God!

Latest Update

Good Morning my friends! I had a great night last night. All of my levels stayed perfect and even improved! They bumped my ventilator down just a little bit more. I was very slowly fed some breast milk through the tube in my nose all night, but they just turned it off and won’t give me anymore until later because I have an MRI on my brain at 10:30. Although I am showing no signs of it, they just want to make sure that I don’t have any brain damage from the lack of oxygen. I got the IV in my scalp removed this morning. I was very angry because the bandage that they had over the IV ripped some of my beautiful hair out and that hurt. I guess it’s ok though because I have plenty of headbands to make up for it. Just a couple of things that I would love if you would pray for me- •That my little body would continue to digest the milk just fine •That my MRI will go great and the outcome will be perfect •That my mama can keep up her milk supply so I can keep getting the good stuff
