Our friend Carlitos has been though many challenging health issues in the last year. Because of liver cancer, he received a liver transplant but suffered some complications. Because of these factors, he has spent considerable time in the hospital and has accumulated many financial burdens along the way.
Although his recovery has been difficult so far, with God's help he will regain his health and return to being an active member of our dance community once again.
We strive to support members of our dance family when they are in need so I ask you to please support Carlitos on his road to recovery.
Please join us on Carlitos Vazquez's 60th birthday,
when we join together to do a fundraiser for him,
next Saturday, July 20th at Club 412, YSBD from 9pm-2am
We will have 3 rooms for dancing Hustle, WCS and Mixed Ballroom and Latin.
DJ Nelson 'Paradise' Roman - Hustle, DJ Jes Ann Nail - West Coast Swing and DJ Peter Trewin - Ballroom/Latin.
The admission will be the usual $15 for this dance party but we are asking for a suggestion of a $5 donation, can be more or can be less.
We will be doing a Chinese Auction for some wonderful raffle prizes which include free passes to local dance dance parties, private lessons with top instructors and popular baskets by Leslie 'Boo Boo' Saladino. All of the donation money and raffle prize money will go to Carlitos.
With some luck, Carlitos will be able to join us on this night!
If you cannot make the fundraiser but would still like to contribute, you can do so on this fundraising page.
If you prefer to send a check to Carlitos, here is his address:
1 Iron Forge Square
Unit 24
Pompton Lakes, NJ 07442
Thank you!
