Baby Samuel Banke has arrived at last, but not without a fight! After several years of trying for a baby, Bethany and Christopher finally got pregnant. But, the unexpected happened and little Samuel had to be delivered 6 weeks early and spend 2 1/2 weeks in the neo-natal intensive care unit. Bethany also became very ill and had to be in the hospital for 2 weeks. Then, just when life was beginning to settle in to some normalcy, their tiny baby at just 6 lbs, had to have surgery. The Banke's out-of-pocket medical expenses are more than $17,000. Any help that family and friends could provide would be so appreciated so that the money that they have worked so hard to save for a down payment on a house can still be used for that purpose. They are deeply grateful for all of your prayers and support!
