This is James, who up to just recently was perfectly healthy, dedicated 3rd grade teacher, as well as a loving, devoted husband and father of a 4 year old daughter. James was also a talented musician, playing the guitar, piano and drums. James contracted an infection that led to Septic Shock. If that wasn't enough, he learned that both of his hands feet and leg had to be amputated. . James and his family have a very unfamiliar, daunting and complex journey ahead of them to reconfigure their life as a family and regroup. They need their bathroom and kitchen remodeled so that he can again function as independently as possible. They need a specialized van with a wheelchair lift so his wife can transport him when he receives his adapted, very heavy, electric wheelchair. James has a very long road to his recovery and many equipment needs coming up as he transitions to the future use of prosthetic hands and legs. If he ever drives again, he will need a highly adapted car in order to do so.
James and his family have received some donations from very loving friends and family, but have a long way to go to cover all of the expenses they are being bombarded with. They are so thankful for anything that you can do to bless their family during this unbelievably difficulty time in their lives.
