On Sunday September 24th our beloved son, brother, father, and grandfather was tragically taken home to be with his dad and his Heavenly Father. He was killed on his way home by a careless women who was intoxicated and nodded off and veered into his lane hitting him head on. He was thrown from his bike and died at the scene.
As a family we were not prepared for such a huge loss, we couldn't have ever imagined losing anyone that close, let alone Darryl. We wanted to preserve his dignity and ours, so we were going to donate his body to charity so that all costs were covered and he could be layed to rest quickly, quietly, and peacefully, but even tho organ donation was his wish, it is not a possibility because his injuries are to extensive so there is nothing that can be used. he also had other financial burdens that need to be payed to take the financial burden off of his elderly mothers shoulders so she can grieve peacefully. We would also like to send him home with his son Brendon in a nice Harley urn, because he loved and lived for riding and that is where he will be at peace.
Our family appreciates all the support from all of our family, long time friends, friends we have made thru this tragedy, and the surrounding community who have been so supportive thru this. Anyone who knew Darryl, knew he had his struggles but he could make anyone laugh, his quick wit kept u laughing and on your toes. He also had a heart of gold, he would do anything he could for anyone at the drop of a hat, he even ran into a house engulfed in flames and carried the elderly lady to safety saving her life, and received an award from Bullhead city for courange and bravery. He was an amazing person who's life was cut way to short, so many people are struggling with his loss and will be forever touched by his passing. Any funds left after paying necessities will be donated to a local motorcycle charity because that is what he would want. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you all so much, The Tuttle Family.
