As many of you know, I lost my best friend, Christopher Neal “Lucky” Carnes , in November. In his memory, I am looking to pay off the handicap van that we used so I can donate it to a family that needs one. Unfortunately, being a medical vehicle/loan, I owe too much on the van to sell it outright and I cannot afford to keep it. I am trying to either payoff or reduce the amount of my loan to make it more affordable. Thank you for any help you can give and God bless!!

Thank you for all of your donations--we are up to $1,455 with online and mailed donations!!

So very sorry for your loss. So wish we could take over payments. In need of a van for use for our disabled daughter but just cannot afford one. Praying you are able to pay it off soon.

He was my brother ‘s best friend. Two of his dreams that he never thought would happen was to marry and have a child. We were married July 23, 1994, after he graduated from high school and had our son , Austin, later that year. When we married, I ‘knew’ that I would be a widow in my 20’s raising a child by myself—Chris wasn’t expected to live past his teens!! Chris even went to work against his doctor’s advice to support our family while I finished college. We saw our 24th anniversary this year and Chris even saw his son turn 24 years old on November 28th before he passed away the very next day!! Our life wasn’t easy, but it was AMAZING and each day was a blessing!! This fundraiser was extremely hard for me to set up because even though we were helped and supported by friends, family and
