On March 9, 2017, our dear friends Adela & Jorge Alvarez lost their horse Ravel after a colic episode, surgery and a 13 day veterinary hospital stay. One year earlier they lost their previous horse Sapphire Blue as well. We can't imagine their sadness or the pressure of the veterinary bills while they are grieving.

We have set up this fundraising page in their honor and to show our friendship and support. Adela and Jorge are kind and generous people who are always willing to give and help others. They volunteer helping animals and they adopted both of their horses from the South Florida SPCA horse rescue.

If Adela & Jorge or their horses have touched your life, please consider contributing the help pay their vet bills which are estimated at $14,000. Their insurance may cover about half so we are trying to raise the other half to help alleviate the financial stress. If you can give any small amount, it will help, and Adela and Jorge will be so very grateful.
