April 2, we adopted Annie, a 6 yr. old Basset Hound. We fell in love with her big droopy eyes, long ears, & ever-wagging tail.

Annie was dumped by her original family for no reason & she was supposed to be put down.

She has a tennis-ball-sized mammary tumor on her belly & our vet say we need to get it removed ASAP! Our bill for getting it removed would be about $1,000 & we could use some help. Any extra that is raised will go to our local shelter! Thank you so much for helping our Annie.

Latest Update

Annie May is all healed up after her surgery! Vet says everything looks good. She's a much happier pup now and is all for the belly rubs!!! Robert and I have no idea why her previous family would have dumped and abandoned her! We love this little girl and are so happy to have her in our family! Here's to a summer of fun and healthy pup times!!

The top is Annie's tumor and the bottom is the last of her stitches that were taken out today! She's off all pain meds, no more donut of doom, or net of annoyance just a quick round of antibiotics to get the swelling down! We ended up only paying a little over $400 out of pocket because of the donations we received!! Thank you guys so much!!

Annie May's surgery went really well! The tumor was removed, along with two other smaller ones. They also found out her uterus was enlarged and filled with mucous...something that could turn to pus and rupture. So glad the vet caught that too!! She's very dopey and sleeping a lot and also just wants to cuddle. Thanks for all the love, prayers, and donations for our pup!
