We all know that Wendi loves her dogs just like they were her children. Well recently while she was out of town, Louie had a back injury that required emergency surgery to give him a chance of survival. This has cost thousands of dollars. For those of us who know and love both Wendi and her boys, or those who have their own pets that are like family.... There was no other option. Please help by donating whatever you can. No amount is too little. Thank you!

  • Wendi Gilreath7 years ago Lou came home tonight. He is exhausted. Hank is relaxed, and having happy doggy dreams. The next few months are going to be a very interesting. Lots for me to learn. And Lou will relearn to walk. I am in tears with relief that he WILL walk. And that he's back home! Feeling so blessed.

  • Wendi Gilreath7 years ago I got to hold the little man when I visited him tonight. He snuggled in and relaxed in my arms for about an hour. His IV, catheter and cone are gone. The vets say that he is doing well and "just as he should be" for now. We're hoping that he can come home Thursday, but it might be Friday. Hank missed his little brother and has been looking for him. But seems to be calmed when he smells Louie on me after my visits. Thank you all for your prayers and support!
