Make Your Own!
Started by: Michelle Parsons
HI, My name is Sir Bear Watson and I am a Brazilian Mastiff with blood hound. I moved to NC from Korea in Feb 2016. My owner John Parsons is a retired military man and now working overseas again and can't keep me, so I moved to be with my mom Michelle in NC. I have 2 other sibling doggies and 2 human siblings. I had surgery on my left rear leg in April 2016. I was told originally in Korea that I had calcium deposits in my leg. I come to the states and my mom took me to her vet and I got sent to a speciality hosptial in Cary, NC because my vet doesn't handle this type of surgery. I had a torn achillies, that had shrunk and could not be put back together. So I had to have 3 plates, 9 screws and a bone graft done. I finally got my cast off July 7th of 2016. My mom noticed that I wasn't putting my foot down, so she had to take me back to Cary. Well the news isn't good. I have 4 definite broken screws and now I must have a more complicated surgery. They want to put hardware on the outside of my leg kind of looking like a halo. My owners had no problem paying for the first surgery, but have run into some issues and can not afford this 2nd surgery. We need to raise $5,000 to pay for this surgery. All money raised will go directly to bear's fund, and any left over will go to a non kill shelter or to buy toys for animals in a non kill shelter. I do NOT want to be put down as I am only 2 years old. I have helped my owner with his PTSD while stationed in Korea. I now help my mom with hers. Please help me and my family. Thank you, Sir Bear Watson www.sirbearwatson
