Our dear friend Lisa's sweet pup, Sunshine, has been under 24 hour veterinary care since Saturday January 7th. Lisa and Sunny were playing a game of fetch in the back yard when Sunny cried out in pain and went lame in her back end. After spending the weekend in the emergency room, blood work, a CT scan and an MRI, the Veterinary Neurologist determined that she ruptured a disc in her spine. Sunny is showing some mild improvement but will need to remain under 24 hour veterinary care for a few more days and has a long road ahead of her. As some of you may know, Sunny had an incident 1 year ago where she swallowed a large rock and Lisa is still recovering from those veterinary bills. Sunny is a member of the family and deserves the best care there is, so we want to help Lisa and Sunny get that care. She is looking at upwards of $3,000 in veterinary bills and counting. Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated. Lisa can provide updates on Sunny's condition, but for now we wanted to start a fund for Sunny so that Lisa can concentrate on her recovery and not have to worry so much about how she will pay for it.
