Late yesterday in a fire started in the Somerton area of the city. It quickly became a three alarm fire that spread to 6 homes in total. All residents were safely evacuated from all the buildings and our dear friend Scott who runs and owns, Play With This Toys and Collectibles, was at work while his home right next to the fire was being flooded and ruined. The fire lasted over 3 hours, and misplaced alot of people. He was unable to get anywhere near his house last night after leaving work and not until today him and Todd were able to go see the full damage the fire had caused. From Brian Yan and I’s understanding his insurance is only covering a small percentage of the damage. Two feet of water plus the actual smoke/fire that came in contact with his home. Many things that are irreplaceable are now gone, they have no electric, and will have to live in a hotel until the insurance company and paperwork can be filed and dealt with. Brian and I thought starting a GoFundMe would be a great idea to try and help Scott and Todd with costs of the hotel and whatever else they would need for the next few weeks. I know with everything going on in this world it is difficult to make a donation at the moment but whatever you can do to help Scott and Todd please do. Scott is a great human being that will do anything for anyone and Todd is just the most loving dog ever. If anyone has any questions please do not hesitate to contact Brian or myself. We thought the amount would cover hotel fees for Scott and Todd, food for both of them, and some bill money. Thanks again.
