As you may be aware, our dedicated, loyal, and trusted doorman Pete Melendez will be retiring on Saturday July 29th.
Pete has worked hard to manage the lobby, ensure that our residents remain safe, and has created a welcoming environment for all. Pete began working for the condo association 13 years ago and has no doubt enhanced the lives of all residents and guests that have passed through.
As a token of our gratitude to Pete, I have set up a retirement gift fund on behalf of the Carl Sandburg Village Condominium Association.
We all know that Pete deserves a sweet retirement and a small contribution from each resident would make a huge difference! With an estimated 800 residents in the Alcott and Bryant Houses, we have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
