Help Daniel get back to Colombia!!
Hey y'all! This is a campaign to raise money so that Daniel can visit his family in Colombia. He came to the United States in 2015 and applied for Permanent Residency, and after a very long process he was finally approved! During the process, he was unable to leave the States. He has not been away from his family for this long, ever in his life. He has missed the birth of his nephew, Santiago, and has not yet even met him. Both of his grandmothers are getting old, and he is worried he won't be able to see them again.
His birthday is in September, and I would love for his birthday to have a chance for us to travel back to Colombia! Now is the time to do it, because by the end of the year he will be starting another adventure and will likely be unable to travel to Colombia for some time.
I am so hopeful we will be able to raise the money, because I know how important family is to him. I can't even imagine the joy and tears that will be had!! I am so excited! If you give to this cause, it will be one big birthday present from us all, and your name and donation will go on his birthday card that will be presented to him before the trip!

We made it to Colombia! We could not have even tried to do it without your help! I so so appreciate your willingness to give and make my husbands birthday a fabulous one! He has been reunited with his parents and best friend, and this weekend we will meet our nephew, Santiago for the first time! So exciting! He still doesn't know that we will get a chance to meet him, since they live in a different part of Colombia. It will be an amazing surprise! Thank you thank you! We had a really hard time getting here, with hurricane Irma threatening to destroy all of our plans, but we were able to get a flight out a few days earlier! PTL!

Hey friends! We have bought the tickets for September 9-16! I am so excited! We will be in Colombia during Daniels birthday, and his sister and our nephew and niece will be in bogota for 2 days so we can see them as well as the rest of the family. We only need about $400 more to hit our goal, for baggage fees and basic expenses, and covering costs at our business while we are gone. If you have been wanting to give, or know someone who might want to give, even just a small amount would help! Thank you thank you thank you!
