Hey guys!
I’m looking to take a trip to Rwanda and Tanzania this May to learn about animal and environmental conservation through a nonprofit group called Operation Groundswell. We will be working alongside the Jane Goodall Institution and the Dion Foussey Foundation.
We will also work with the locals on a more sustainable kind of tourism with money that will benefit the town. During this mission trip we will learn stove-building, agroforestry, and sustainable farming among other amazing trades.
I’m looking to raise money for my trip with the group: this will cover the deposit that will go the organization to fund more backpacktivist trips, airfare, food costs, room and board, the program leaders who will be with us 24/7, all transportation, entrance fees, group tours, workshops on conservation, and everything else!
It is a great cause, and a wonderful opportunity--together we can make a small footprint in East Africa!
