My name is Jahde’Ja White. I am currently a undergraduate student at Xavier University of Louisiana majoring in Biology PreMed with a minor in Chemistry and Spanish. I aspire to be a bilingual Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon, so that I can change the lives of children with muscle, joint, and bone deformities across the Americas, especially in Spanish speaking third world countries. This summer I will be studying abroad in Costa Rica where I will have the opportunity to learn Medical Spanish and shadow highly ranked physicians in Costa Rica. This is a great educational experience for my major that will take me one step further to my aspiring dream to become a bilingual surgeon.
