Hey Everyone,
As some of you know, I have an amazing opportunity to volunteer for 2 weeks in Thailand through Operation Groundswell.
In this unique adventure, I will be working with local NGOs in Thailand, focused on environmentalism and tourism. This is more of a service learning trip than anything, which will allow me to learn more about the issues that affect local people and the environment, and to be able to share that with the amazing people in my life.
While am there, I will be working with the Mirror Foundation in Bangkok, which focuses on issues affecting urban youth, an elephant sanctuary, and visiting locals living in forested areas who are threatened by urbanization.
I am really excited about this adventure, and I am hoping that you will be able to support me as I fundraise for this trip.
The money I am raising is for my program fee, which pays for administrative costs, as well as contributions to the local NGOs, accommodation (We will be living with locals in their homes) and food, transportation, and access fees. I am also raising money for my flight, and for any necessary vaccinations.
Thank you for your support. It means the world to me!
