Hi guys as you know yesterday was my 38th birthday, and this has been a difficult time for my wife and I. We have spent most of our resources financially on trying to add an additional member to our family, and that has taken it's toll in multiple ways as it has turned out more difficult than anticipated. I also have three teenagers to support and pay for college tuition and life expenses. You guys know I am also trying to write a book, and find the time and resources to be able to do that. This dream has been a continuing process. One aspect to it is getting the courage that what I have to say will impact lives in a profound way. It's still hard to find that courage. Something that has helped me greatly throughout the years is being able to connect with powerful women who change lives. I was able to get a scholarship and attend an event at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck New York, and it was life changing for me. Some of my hero's that have paved the way for me to discover myself and help others will be here. My spirit animal Elizabeth Gilbert will be, and Glennon Doyle and Cheryl Strayed as well. It is difficult to ask for support because I have so much already, and we are able to put food on the table. There are many people that need support more than I in so many ways. So this isn't asking for large donations. If you have the money for an extra cup of coffee for instance and I've had an impact on your life, it would be an amazing part of my story if you could help my wife and I attend this conference. I'm hoping for wide reach and small donations. Tell a friend about a way that I have impacted you and ask them to share it please. The goal is to get two tickets and be able to afford airfare, the time off, etc. Most importantly I want to get to take my wife who is newer than I to this journey of finding her own power, and how important it is. I can't wait to watch her have this experience. Anything we are able to learn from this I know that we will spread what we have gained to others. Ripples in the ocean of humanity!
