269 students are participating in Instrumental Music at Pine Crest (75% of the 4th and 5th grade). This may be the largest group of musicians ever at PCES and is probably the largest group
among MCPS elementary schools, according to Mr. Gregory.
Here's the breakdown:
150 of the students are providing their own instruments
87 students are using school-owned instruments
32 students do not have instruments yet
Your MKPC PTA is covering the cost for Mr. Gregory to repair instruments that were already donated to our program (13 violins and 1 trumpet), but we still need 17 VIOLINS and 1 saxophone.
Can you help us to help students in our community learn to read and play music from one of our most amazing teachers? THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!
