Acquiring new or used Musical Instruments to benefit low-income, at-risk children and large families to cover rent and make music available to all. The therapeutic benefit of music is another reason why we want to expand our musical instrument library and be able to offer more classes and ensembles to our students. Music is also tied to mathematics. Counting, rhythm, scales, intervals, patterns, symbols, harmonies, time signatures, overtones, tone, and pitch are all mathematical components that go into creating music. Obtaining these musical instruments will assist us in maintaining and reaching our goals for well-rounded, comprehensive, and rich music education for our students.
