Make Your Own!
Started by: Aimee Suzara
For Jenna Hansen, our dear friend who passed away on May 5..this is to support her love of animals and her loving, caring, giving spirit! Donations will be collected and go to this clinic: https://secure.vetmed.ucdavis.edu/public/E_Gifts_vm/results/index.cfm?fnd=&fndsrch=VMTH
If you prefer to make your contribution via check, please make your check payable to UC REGENTS with a note that it should go to the SMALL ANIMAL CLINIC, and Aimee Suzara (Jenna's college friend) can collect them at Aimee Suzara, PO Box 10732, Oakland, CA 94610. The idea is that all of the funds can go together in Jenna's honor/name, rather than them be separately donated to the clinic by individuals. If you prefer to make your donation outside of Plumfund or directly to the clinic, this is absolutely fine as well!
There is no "cap" to this fund, so disregard the $1,000 goal -- we know that any amount will be a great gift, be it much bigger or smaller.
As close friend Sarah Eltantawi has noted: Jenna took such fabulous care of her now departed cat MoMo, that the UC Davis Small Animal Clinic actually sent HER a thank you letter after she had brought him in for treatment. She also lovingly cared for her cat Muffy and her beloved tortoise Mr. T, for whom she made amazing meals of finely diced lettuce and cantaloupe and was always looking for ways to improve his enclosure and keep him warm and happy.
Jenna was not just a true animal lover who showered her pets (and everyone else's) with a lot of love and care, she was a wonderful friend to the humans in her life. She was quirky, loving, kind, generous and had an amazing smile that would light up anyone's day. One friend said of her:
"Her kindness was a lesson to us all, and whether we can be as wonderful as Jenna or not, the fact remains: Jenna was a truly unique and lovely and thoughtful person. Possibly the most out of anyone I know or have known."
We love you Jenna!!
