Vocal Music Projects for McKinley
The McKinley Choir Program is comprised of 4 Choirs. The choir program at McKinley was started in 2012 and has grown every year since then. The students practice every day, and/or twice a week, depending on the vocal group. All vocal music students learn the fundamentals of singing and music as well as prepare for school and community performances. The McKinley Vocal Music Program has created this plum fund account to collect donations from you, our supports, to help build our music program. The mission of the McKinley Magnet Choir Program is to serve as an important musical link throughout the elementary school years by providing a unique educational experience in which students gain not only musical skills and a life-long appreciation of music, but have the opportunity to develop individual skills that will help them to be successful throughout their lives. As the vocal music director I am always searching for new and amazing experiences for my students. Your donations will help to create amazing experiences for these young singers to expand their love and passion for choral music. Our Show Choir is preparing to perfom in Buena Park, California on May 28, 2017. Our Director Kenneth Whitchard is working so hard to insure we raise the necessary funds to make this trip happen and we are so close but we still need support. Our program has created a Plum Fund account to collect donations from members of the community who wish to support our program. If you would like to donate, please click the link in the comments below. There is not a donation to small.
