Make Your Own!
Started by: Terry Johnson
I am currently a college student who attempted to work and go to school full time. Though I was advised against it I decided that it would be best for me because I would be able to my bills on my own without having to depend on a roommate. I eventually began to be late to work and got behind in my classes. I had to drop two classes because I did not believe I could recover. Unfortunately that put me below full time and my financial aid was affected and I now owe my school money. Shortly after dropping the classes I was let go from my job. I tried to explain to them what had happened and that now I could give them more of my time. But they told me it was too late and I could reapply in six months. After three weeks of not working I finally got a job making minimum wage and working 25 hours a week. Unfortunately I got behind in my bills and I currently don't get enough hours to have extra money to catch up with them. I am now looking for another part time job but because all the students at my school go home during the summer most places aren't hiring at the moment. I don't need much so if you could give anything it would very much be appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read my long story and I hope you have a good day.
