College Tuition for Alexis
As a single mother of three daughters, two are in college, 2015 was a difficult year financially. From graduating with a masters degree one week to being laid off the next week and now working as a contractor for a significantly less income, it's been difficult to maintain a stable home and support my children in their education. So I implore you to help me raise funds to support my middle daughter in her college education. This is the difference between continuing or having to withdraw from school. Alexis is a sophomore Business Entrepreneur major at NC A&T with a 2.91 GPA, a member of the Blue & Gold Marching Machine & plays the clarinet. Her goals are to complete her degree at A&T, culinary arts school and open her own business as a restauranteur. If you are able to help in any way large or small, it would be greatly appreciated.

Of course I uploaded the wrong pic... But here you go. The other pic was her line sisters who are also cold steel drummers. So many talented ladies. Btw Alexis is a #2.

It's spring break!!! After a whirlwind week, Alexis is home visiting. School is going great. She just crossed the Spring 2016 line of Tau Beta Sigma, National Honorary Band Sorority. Her grades are good. Though she's struggling a bit with accounting (but who didn't). And she's also learning a new instrument (trumpet). Alexis continues to amaze me. We thank you all for your continued support.

Woo Hoo! Alexis is registered for classes! We have gotten on the payment plan for the remainder of the Spring sememster's balance. This Spring she is taking Accounting II, Management Information Systems, History, Symphonic Band and waiting for approval to register for one more class. Thank you everyone who has given and still plans to give. All I can say is Aggie Pride!

We've exceeded our goal!!! God is sooooooooo good!!! He has blessed us with some awesomely exceptional and wonderful friends. On and offline we've raised over $4,000.00. Alexis will be registered for classes on Monday. She's still asleep and has no idea, but I'm sure she will be happy and excited to know she can finish the school year without a worry. Thank you to all who gave. You know who you are. I am overwhelmed by your generosity. Thank you to all who couldn't give, but shared my story. You helped increase my opportunities of getting support. Alexis has a great spring semester ahead of her and I have some opportunities that I am pursuing. This is only a season. Thank you all for hearing my story and helping me be able to do for my child.
