Helping Hands for Childhood Leukemia is an organization created to raise money that will be donated (100%) to a family that has been impacted by childhood leukemia. Each year we will choose a family to be the recipient of the funds we raise. The goal is to raise enough money to pay for a family’s mortgage or rent for a full year. We want to make sure that the child has a loving parent who can be by his or her side without having to worry about losing their home during the treatment process. We are asking for donations now through May 2016 for the first year’s recipient of this program. It will culminate with the “FIRST ANNUAL” HELPING HANDS FOR CHILDHOOD LEUKEMIA CHARITY GOLF TOUNAMENT.

This year’s chosen family is THE CHUINARD HEPNER FAMILY. Lisa Chuinard is a wonderful mother of five children four of which are special needs children. Her son Noah is a 9 year old warrior who was diagnosed with Leukemia on August 25, 2015. Noah has a long road ahead with a three-year treatment plan. This young man has an incredible outlook, often stating, "We are going to beat cancer!" And we know he is right, because he is surrounded by so much Love and Prayer!

Prior to Noah’s diagnosis, Lisa was working as the Director of Interpreting at Sorenson VRS. Lisa had no choice but to resign from her job to care for her son. With the loss of her job she not only loses 50% of their income, but also the health insurance that was helping to cover some of Noah’s medical costs. Now with the mounting bills and reduced income, there is a very real possibility that the Chuinard family will not be able to afford to stay in their current home and will experience financial devastation.

Please help us raise $10,000 over the next six months to change the future for Noah and his family and allow them to keep their home during this very tough time. Any additional money raised will be used towards additional mortgage payments or Noah’s medical bills for his treatments.

EVERY PENNY COUNTS. NO DONATION IS TOO SMALL.

Thank you,
