Hannah's College Fund
In my whole life, I have never found a place as warm and comforting and supportive as the college I go to now. For me, this is not just a way to another degree to put up on my wall, it's my family. My name is Hannah, and I come from California where I am right now. I went to high school here, but then I decided to change things up and move to Richmond, Virginia. There I found my church, New Life Outreach International. To say it's just a church is not doing it justice. Everyone there is very close-knit, praying for one another, always joking, never forgetting a birthday. When the church said they were starting a school, I was ecstatic! I was lost and looking for direction in my life, so I knew I was being led there. For one year, I grew and learned, made new friends that I will always treasure, and learned more about my purpose in this life. When something happened that I couldn't handle, I always knew I could come to someone for support which, because of my past relationships, was the best gift I could've ever received. From going to conventions, to handing food out to the homeless, to going to each others funerals, we did it all together. At the end of the year, I decided to move back home with my mom and try to make money for my second year...I've found this to be more difficult than I expected. I only have a few more weeks before the next trimester begins and I'm doing everything I can to get even $5 closer to my goal. If I didn't make my goal, it wouldn't just feel like losing my future, it would feel like losing my family. I would be so incredibly grateful to receive whatever amount is put on your heart to give, it would mean everything to me! Thank you so much for your time. God bless!
