I want to go to college
My name is Ashley Earley. I am 16 years old and currently a Junior in Highschool. I am trying to raise money for my college tuition. I am currently looking at schools, but my number one school is North Carolina State University. There I want to major in psychology and after I finish my 4 years there I want to become a psychologist.
I am a shy, but I love people. Every since I could remember I have always had this empathy for other and this passion to make the people around me happy, even if I wasn't to happy with myself. What really sparked my interest in psychology was my own quandary. For a few years now I have been going through a depression and anxiety. My grades began to drop, I lost interest in things that use to give me joy. I thought of suicide on a daily bases and even began to inflict wounds on myself. I felt like I had no future to look foward to. I've always had anxiety, but have never been depressed. But one day I just decided I didn't want to die and that my life is worth living. My grades are slowly but surely making a comeback. I am back to being an A/B Honor Roll student and I am putting myself out there more. I even joined Track and Field. I believe that God, put me here so I could help people like myself. He knew that I could understand and help many people deal with problems they can't control and let them know they aren't alone and someone cares.
I am trying to raise money to help pay for my tuition. college fees are really expensive and I don't have the funds to pay for them. If you can donate a dollar it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
