Hello everyone! My name is Sarah Bernecker, and I will be a Sophomore in college this year at BYU-Idaho! I am so excited to go back and continue my dream of becoming a Graphic Designer! However I am pressed with finances. I plan to serve a mission for my church and that will have a major affect on how much time I can work, and I do not have enough time to earn money for a mission, and 3 semesters of college (with the time frame this is what I will need to earn money for). None of this money will be put towards a mission, it will go directly to my college fund.
I am currently working 2 jobs which totals to 50-55 hours a week that I am working. I have applied for every scholarship that I find I qualify for, but they are difficult to find. My parents do pay for half of my mission and college, but I still have about $10,000 that I do not currently have the funds for, and I do not want to go into debt.
On top of it all, I cannot have a job at college. I have a few learning disabilities including Dyslixia, and verbal and written expressive disorder. Basically I have to take more time to get the grades I am proud of, and this prevents me from having a job while at college.
Any amount donated is a blessing as it relieves me from much worry. I thank you for helping me achieve my dream!
