We are reaching out to family and close friends. On the evening of February 6, David had a massive left brain stroke and he continues to be in the ICU. Despite a second stroke, losing mobility in his right side, and difficulties speaking, he continues to keep a sense of humor. Those of you who know David know that he lives a modest life. Marissa is now David's primary caretaker, making it impossible to run her craft business. This fund is to help them pay for medical bills and help get through the next few difficult months. We would like to help them relieve some of the financial stress.

Latest Update

David has moved to a long-term rehab facility, where he is working closely with therapists to regain his mobility, speech, and ability to perform everyday tasks (feed himself, etc). Both David and Marissa are grateful for your financial support, which has paid for everyday necessities and has allowed her to be with him as he continues on his road to recovery. It will be a long process, but everyone is staying positive!

David remains in the hospital but has moved out of the ICU. There is a long road of rehabilitation (speech, physical, and occupational therapy) in the future, but everyone is staying positive. Thank you for your support!
