96, of Iowa City, passed away September 4th at his home
surrounded by family and friends.
Ching was born on August 2nd, 1922, in Sonla, Vietnam
and was joined in marriage to The Thi Lo and moved to
Iowa City in 1980. He was a chef at the University of
Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for many years.
Ching is survived by his Ten Children; Ding Thi Lo (InhVan Lo) of France,
Khoune Manotham (Sangkeo Manotham) of Canada, Soubine Van Lo (Sone
Thi Lo) of Canada, Bing Thi Lo (Yi Ping Leuang) of Iowa City, JoyTran
(Binh Tran) of Houston, TX, La Vidhamali (Sebastian Vidhamali) of Iowa
City, Biene Ha (Vou Ha) of Cedar Rapids, La Vidhamali (Sebastian Vidhamali)
of Iowa City, Biene Ha (Vou Ha) of Cedar Rapids, Liene Van Lo (Misty Lo)
of Houston, TX, Erica Voudhivong (Jack Voudhivong ) of Iowa City,
and Noi Baccam (Dam Baccam) of Cedar Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his wife, The Thi Lo
on March 28th, 2000.
