On Tuesday, September 17, 2013, Patty Wassum suffered a grand mal seizure while teaching her beginning band. A week later she had brain surgery to remove the golf ball size tumor that was pushing up against her brain. She is currently at home now in recovery. Unable to work or care for herself, friends are watching over her 24/7. Many folks who live far away have asked how they can help. We have set up a PlumFund to help her on her journey to recovery. Even a modest donation of $10 would make a difference! PlumFund is a trusted website run by my friend Sara Margulis from UC Davis.

Our goal is to get Patty back on her feet again without the stress of finances. With all of your love and support she will be playing the clarinet again soon! Thank you for your generous donations!

House Cleaning

Keeping the house clean and sterile is important for Patty through her recovery. It would be fantastic if she could have someone come by once every other week to take care of household chores such as laundry, vacuuming, dishes, bathroom cleaning, etc.
