Greetings! My 17-year old son Keenan rescued a puppy that got hit by a car in Highland Park. The little guy had no tags, no collar, and no microchip. With the very generous help of his godfather, Derek, so far we have spent over $1300 in Vet costs, and the puppy still needs surgery - another $1000 or so more. After posting flyers, and with the help of the Highland Park Patch, we still haven't found the owners.

We've setup this plumfund for "Buster" (the name my son gave him) . Keenan is ready to spend his $700 from his own savings to help pay for the surgery. But we need help covering the vet costs, and are looking for someone to adopt him (near Highland Park hopefully).

We know anything you can give will be put to good use. Thank you for your generosity!

Amputation Surgery (based on quote)

We received 3 quotes estimating surgery at $800 to $1000, and would welcome a local vet to sponsor the surgery for good will! His front right paw has gotten worse, and he needs surgery soon!
