James and Byron are having a Baby Girl! Kate Elizabeth is expected to arrive in May 2015 in Iowa. A lot of you have asked how you can help them during this exciting time and here is how. The boys have a lot of expenses with bringing Baby Kate home in May. They've already incurred adoption fees, attorney fees, and travel expenses; however, the real journey begins when Baby Kate is born. The boys have to spend a minimum of two weeks in a hotel in Iowa with Baby Kate, possibly more if the court proceedings take longer or if there are any birth complications.
They have received a lot of inquiries about a baby shower. Instead of having a traditional baby shower, it would be great if the boys had the ability to purchase the items they need while they are in Iowa. As with all adoptions, there is always a possibility that it might not happen. Imagine having to come home without the baby and then having to return all the wonderful gifts that friends and family purchased. That would be devastating for them. This site makes it easier for James and Byron to keep track of the gifts and to return them effortlessly in the worst case scenario. Additionally, it allows them to buy what they need when Baby Kate needs it.
James and Byron will be rushing to get to Iowa once Baby Kate is on her way into the world, so the chances of them forgetting something at home is highly likely. Anything that you give today would ease the stress of an out-of-state adoption and allow them to fulfill their dream of bringing home a beautiful baby girl!
