Update: We reached our goal! Thank you everyone for supporting us this far. Keeps us in your prayers!
Dana and I are volunteering with an organization called International China Concern, to work in an orphanage for abandoned kids with special needs from March 26-April 12 in the city of Sanmenxia. ICC works with the Chinese government to provide a chance at life through development programs and permanent housing and care. They also help families who want to keep their child in their homes by providing support and funding for complicated surgeries and equipment.
This page is to help us with all of the out-of-pocket, non-tax deductible expenses that we need to pay, such as flights, shots, visas, insurance, etc. We would appreciate any help big or small. More importantly, we would also love your prayers as we prepare mentally and physically (Dave is learning Chinese!) for what is sure to be an emotional, eye-opening journey.
