On April 27th, our dear friends and colleagues the Feicks of Indiana9 Fossils suffered a great tragedy. Their entire warehouse with all of its precious contents of their livelihood was destroyed in a relentless electrical fire. 18 years worth of invaluable scientific and historical inventory amassed by the hard work and dedication of the Feick family was lost.

To help the Feicks to begin the long journey to rebuilding their family business and their lives, we are asking for your support in any way that you can offer it. Monetary donations can either be made via credit card (processed through PayPal) or sent direct via personal or business check. We would also welcome donations of material goods in the form of fossil inventory or anything that you feel may be helpful to them in their time of need, such as items offered for them to sell on consignment. Any and all gestures are appreciated to a family that has brought so much to us all.

Merv has been working diligently, despite needing recent elbow surgery, to get his family business back up and running. They have completed the demolition and the pouring of the pad and are slated to begin reconstruction hopefully in the next week. In the meanwhile, he has been steadfast in implementing a new web site program to open the doors once again for business. Stop in and check it out! Give Merv a shout out to let him know how you like the new site! http://www.landmcollectibles.com/?p=314
