Technology for Mrs. Draluck's Kindergarten
I want to continue to be able to purchase and integrate technology in my Kindergarten. Becoming a connected Kindergarten means that our enthusiasm for using technology in the classroom will be current and upgraded. We can spend more time working on class activities and exploration using technology and all the possibilities that a Chromebook/iPad offers. A Chromebook is an economical, sensible laptop that replaces the traditional, more expensive computers/ laptops. They deliver a lot of bang for their buck! We already have some in the classroom and LOVE them! I would like to have a class set. Utilizing iPads in the classroom opens up a whole new world of possibilities! This funding allows me to do something in my classroom that I could not afford on my own and make a dream a reality for me. My students are already learning programming! As a teacher, I feel it is my job to prepare students for the real world environment of the 21st century. As our nation becomes increasingly more technology dependent, it becomes even more necessary that to be successful citizens, students must learn to be tech-savvy. This funding will help my students begin their tech education.
