As you are all learning, the last 2 weeks have presented some unexpected challenges - for Brad and our family. He has been diagnosed with colon cancer and has shut down his studio to focus on the challenges of treatment.
He will be having surgery on Thursday July 10th and then will face an extended round of chemo - the details are unknown at this point but it could be 6 months or longer.
The immediate tasks are clear, and while the reality of this is just sinking in, the initial surgery and treatment is easy to comprehend - the other parts (treatment costs and time away from work) are not as easy to plan for - that's why we've started this campaign - to keep his studio open and to make life as normal as we can for Callum and Maren.
It's not easy to ask for help, but I hope that you will consider assisting us in this process - if not financially, with your presence and support - a postcard or email.
Thank you for your love and support. Melissa.
