For Ed's 30th birthday this year, I am hoping to collect as many contributions as I can towards replacing the beacon on his tow truck. As you all know, Ed's greatest love in this world (after Karma dog) is his truck. Over the past year and half, he and Caius have put their blood, sweat, and tears into repairing, maintaining and updating the truck and while the truck has come a long way, there is still one major piece that could use some TLC - his beacon.
The beacon on the truck has never worked properly (or at all), which is a pretty significant issue when it comes to the safety of a tow truck operator, especially at night. Although Ed and Caius have supplemented with other, smaller lights, a new beacon would go a long way in keeping Ed safe on the road.
Anything you contribute to the cause would be greatly appreciated, no matter the amount. My hope is to have the beacon to present to him at his birthday party on August 11th.
