I've always had two passions in life, photography and cooking. For the past 5 years my trusty Nikon D700 has shot 10s of thousands of photos for Berkeley Playhouse, San Francisco Playhouse, (once for 42nd Street Moon), dozens of actors, and my own artistic endeavors.
I love my camera but having bought it used to begin with, it's on its last legs. It's time for a new camera and I really want to add the ability to shoot high quality video as well, mostly, again, for the performing arts.
Sadly the new Nikon is well out of my reach. So, I thought I would turn to crowd gifting (ain't technology great).
