Luke Sanders is a very good human being.
He is kind, caring, and would give the shirt off his back to help someone who needed it.
He is also a sweet dork who loves D&D, musicals, Ren Faires, and Disney.
With this in mind, I am lucky enough to be living next to (purportedly), the Happiest Place on Earth. I would really, really love to be able to take him to Disney when he next comes to visit (end of October) as an early birthday present.
Currently, tickets for a doable date at least expensive Mon, 10/25 ($139). This is a little out of my price comfort zone personally, so doing two tickets isn’t super possible right now.
However, I do know Luke (and I) have some really amazing friends who might be able to toss $5 or $10 at this endeavor. I’d like to raise at least $139 for the ticket. If I make an extra $50, I’ll take him out to a nice meal as well! Anything above that would go to getting a two-Park ticket (so he can see all the cool Marvel stuff at Disney CA), and then maybe the rest could help with my ticket (in that insane scenario where one of you is secretly a billionaire genie). Additionally, I’d like to make the reservation as soon as possible, because park capacity is being limited for COVID-19 safety (thank god).
Since this is such a wonderful generous thing to do without being able to participate in this experience yourselves, I will make sure that everyone who chips in gets a thank you message from Luke personally (unless he totally hates it), and a little treat from the park. I know it won’t be much, but I want to make sure y’all know how much I appreciate this.
If you’ve got any thoughts, comments, or concerns, please feel to let me know ASAP! Additionally, if you think this is a horrible idea or super rude thing to be doing, also let me know! I’ve never had a partner I wanted to fundraise a surprise for, so I’m a bit new at this lol
Thank you all in advance, and much love!
Isabella
