A group of nurses, doctors, and other great people, provide a medical clinic to the orphans and the surrounding community of LaJeune, Haiti. This is a very remote location, far up in the mountains and is critically underserved.

Latest Update

Hey everyone! Again thanks for your support. Its getting down to the wire, and we are getting everything ready to go. Our group will also be helping to install a new water pump system for the orphanage. As you can imagine, clean potable water is a relative rarity in Haiti.

The Bake Sale and the Adopt a Beanie Baby Campaign have been a great success, but we're not quite there yet. We are expecting a large shipment of medicines tomorrow. About 150 pounds worth, and with the medicines and supplies we have on hand, (not to mention the Beanie Babies), I am predicting that we will need at least 4-6 additional checked bags on the airplane. These are $50.00 per item. Please consider sponsoring one of these. Fifty pounds of medicines and supplies can treat hundreds of men, women and children in Haiti.

It's getting down to the wire, and everything seems to be on track! We have not yet met our goal, but we are heading in the right direction. We are getting ready for the bake sale on February 12. We have purchased some of the medicines, (much. Thanks to our generous donors). And we have all been getting things prepared. It's amazing the amount of preparation involved. If we forget something, we can't just head down to the local Walmart! So thank you again, all of our generous donors

We are getting there, slowly but surely due to the generosity of wonderful donors. We look forward to our annual bake sale, which is coming up soon. We also welcome donations of eyeglasses, small toys, medications, or just about anything. Anna got 300+ Beanie Babies donated-- we should start an adopt a Beanie Babies for Haiti campaign

We are on our way! We have enough volunteers, and our generous contributors have given about $800 through PlumFund and off-line donations. We are at about one third of our goal! We will have to put in a pharmacy order soon, so keep spreading the word!
